Americares employees were the voices that formed our new values. Employee values ambassadors led focus groups with staff from seven countries and one U.S. territory.
During the focus groups, staff were asked to identify the values and core beliefs they regularly saw and experienced at work, as well as values and behaviors they felt the organization should aspire to. A focus group from the Americares Board of Directors and a staff anonymous survey for all employees also shaped our updated organizational values.
