Americares is responding to the multiple wildfires devastating Los Angeles, including the Eaton, Hurst and Palisades fires. We have offered assistance to more than 70 partners across California and are prepared to address urgent health needs and help restore health services for survivors.

Fueled by record Santa Ana winds, the fires have destroyed over 2,000 structures in just two days. Multiple people have died, and thousands of residents across Los Angeles are under evacuation orders. The fires have led to widespread power outages, impacting as many as 900,000 customers in Los Angeles County.
