Thinking of Joining the Crew?

1

Sign up right here to receive a crisis alert (an email). Just fill in the form with your personal email, your first and last name and the name of your company and hit submit.

And be sure to bookmark this page: americares.org/socialcrew

2

When a crisis happens, we send you the alert with social media links. All you have to do is click on any or all links (twitter, FB, IG or LI), and the post will pop up for you to share (you may have to sign onto your account if you haven’t already done so).  You can add a comment if you wish or just click as is, and you are done. If you add a comment be sure to add the hashtag on TW, FB and IG #Sharing4Health. Simple but, oh, so powerful. You are giving people often without a voice a whole chorus of voices.

3

And if you really want to do more (and we hope you do), you can visit the Social Crew portal anytime and share something From the Field, Stories in Motion or even the Live Feed.  Lots of really good stories from and about the communities we serve around the world.

So give it a try!
Click on a link in our #Sharing4Health section
….and share a story!!

Why Join?

Disasters and other crises happen anywhere, any day – Some are huge headlines and some are small and lost quickly. But they all matter to the people in the affected communities.

It might be the COVID crisis in India or a tornado in Alabama.  People are thrown into crisis, and they often feel alone and unheard.

You can give them a voice by sharing a story.

When you join the Social Crew, you take action in real time – sharing the latest story on your social media channels from two trusted sources – Americares and you.  With all the misinformation out there on the web, you get to share real stories with friends and family and even people you may not know – critical information about crises people are facing right now. So sign up.  It is so easy and so incredibly important.

We are a trusted organization. Visit our COVID-19 page to sample the reliable information that we make available every day on americares.org.
