AmeriCares Preparing Medical Airlift to Myanmar Cyclone Victims

Loading Planes at New York and Amsterdam Airports

Estimates of the number of dead, missing and homeless continue to rise and millions of survivors are desperately awaiting food and humanitarian aid.

AmeriCares is working around the clock to provide relief to people in villages that have literally been torn apart.  We have reached out to corporate donors for emergency supplies and have assembled life-saving medicines, medical supplies and other aid in both our Connecticut and Netherlands warehouses. We have secured a plane to transport the aid and have identified partners on the ground in Myanmar to work with in distributing aid where it is needed.

Help save lives in Myanmar and around the world. »
